As finding dental coverage through the Affordable Healthcare Act is adding an extra layer of challenges for Americans, Joe Touschner, of the Georgetown University Center for Children and Families, says families can look through the government marketplace for options. The challenge is that if a family is choosing a healthcare plan that does not have inclusive dental coverage, they need to look for this additional coverage separately, as dental plans are not automatically included in healthcare plan. Touschner says that children may be eligible for medicaid dental insurance as well.
